Photo Friday (6th)

These are 3 of the 13 Derosier siblings. Celestine was the 3rd oldest, Joe the 4th oldest and Agnes the 6th oldest. Celestine is my great-grandmother, Joe my great-granduncle and Agnes my great-grandaunt.
The picture was taken sometime before 1959. Both Celestine and Joe died in 1959.

Left to right: Tom Whitrock, George Vadnais, Adlore Vadnais, Richard “Dick” Vadnais and Pete Bacon (the car in the background is Pete’s 32 Chevy). Dick was 21 years old when he enlisted in the National Guard on January 6, 1941.

Dick and Jack were the only children of Adlore and Ellen to serve in the military. Both did so during World War II.
Thanks for visiting, come back soon,
Cindy
