The following group of photographs was taken on the A. K. (Augustus Kirby) Barnum farm. Barnum was an early land speculator in Minnesota with connections to the White Bear Lake area.
The highlighted area shown is in White Bear Township. It was owned by my 2nd great-grandfather Charles Peltier and then by his son, my great-grandfather Albert Peltier. As you can see, many of the surrounding parcels of land show A. K. Barnum as the land owner. The following pictures were probably taken somewhere in the 1910s on one of the Barnum properties adjoining the C.
