1930s – Robert (Bob) Vadnais (left) and Forrest Riley (right)
Bob’s sister Margaret is Forrest’s wife.  Bob and Forrest are standing in front of a loading platform by the ice storage houses on White Bear Lake.  The platform aided in moving the ice, originally cut from White Bear Lake, from the storage houses onto train cars for transport.
