I love whatever interaction is going on between Grandpa and Grandma and how Anna Mae is looking at them. I wonder if this was a 40th anniversary celebration for Grandma and Grandpa?
The picture was taken with a Polaroid Instant camera which went on sale to the general public in 1948; the cameras sold out in minutes the day they went on sale.
Shown left to right: Dick Vadnais, Anna Mae Vadnais, Jack Vadnais, Martha (Doran) Vadnais and Bev (Wallerick) Vadnais. 
This was the same event as the previous picture.  Notice that Bev is holding the previous Polaroid Instant picture.  Wasn’t it amazing how the Polaroid pictures developed right in front of you?
Left to right: Bev Peltier with her twin sisters Vera and Verna Peltier posed alongside the 1928 Chevrolet won by their Aunt Avis Peltier. 
Bev, Vera and Verna were the 3 oldest of 9 children born to my granduncle Roy Henry Peltier and his wife, my grandaunt, Alice Ruth (Flom).  The 3 girls are my 1st cousins once removed.  Roy Henry and Avis were 2 of my Grandmother Ellen’s siblings; they are my granduncle and grandaunt respectively.
