A Must See

The current exhibit at the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society, “Bears Building Community, How the 1920s Shaped Our Community Today” is a must see.  The Adlore and Ellen Vadnais family business, White Bear Oil Company, is featured in the exhibit with pictures, text and artifacts from the company.  It includes a recently taped interview with our eldest cousin Jerry talking about the business (he’s on the monitor in the 3^rd picture).  White Bear Oil Company played an instrumental part in the development of White Bear Lake.  It is well worth the effort to go see the exhibit.

Thursdays: 3 pm – 9 pm (They’re open during Marketfest.)
Fridays: 10 am – 4 pm
Saturdays: 10 am – 4 pm
Sundays: 12 pm – 3 pm
Closed July 4^th-5^th
No cost – Donations welcome
