1944-45 – back row from left to right: Gladys (Bloom) Berg, Howard “Bud” Bloom, Howard & Vina Bloom (parents of Gladys & Bud), Clem Peltier, Avis Peltier and Clem’s wife Vivian.  Front row from left to right: Tom Berg (Gladys’ son),  Joann & Ron Peltier (Clem & Vivian’s 2 oldest children).  Vina and Avis are 2 of Ellen Vadnais’ sisters and Clem is one of her brothers.  Aren’t the childrens’ patriotic outfits cute?

Please note, the granddaughter of Cleveland & Mabel Peltier emailed me and she is almost positive that it is not Clem and Vivian in the picture. She thinks it is Cleveland and Mabel. Can anyone clarify?

The picture was taken at the Bloom house, 723 6th Street, White Bear Lake.  The house is gone; it would have been located at about the south entrance to The Arbors of White Bear Lake, just east of Division Avenue. 
January 1960 at St. Mary of the Lake School gymnasium.  50th wedding anniversary celebration for Adlore and Ellen Vadnais.  Shown from left to right: Vina (Ellen’s older sister and maid of honor) & Howard Bloom, __________, ____________, Clem (Ellen’s brother) & Vivian Peltier with their youngest daughter Christine, and, I believe, either Marguerite Bibeau or Betty Farrell.

Does anyone know the identity of either of the 2 unidentified men?
A gathering of the Vadnais family, about 1955 – I think this was taken at the Picadilly Supper Club, Mahtomedi, Minnesota.  The building most of us remember was built in 1952 and later expanded.
