Walter, the husband of my first cousin once removed, Gladys (Bloom), was fire chief from 1946-1967.  Gordy, my uncle, was fire chief from 1968-1988 and Tim, my first cousin, was fire chief from 1988-2016.

Rose Delima (Peltier) Derosier, my 2nd great-grandmother
Rose Delima’s maiden name was Peltier and her daughter, Celestine (my great-grandmother), married Albert Peltier (no relation).  Not all people in North America with the Peltier surname are related to one another because there were at least a dozen unrelated males with that surname that emigrated from France to Canada between 1636 and 1757.

Thanks for visiting, come back soon,
Cynthia
