Photo Friday (33rd)

1915-1918 After a successful bird hunt (Did you notice the oar?  The birds don’t look like waterfowl to me, so maybe the oar was used to finish off the birds that were only wounded by the gunshot.)
Shown left to right: Unknown (he worked for Ben LaBore on the Slade farm), Eugene (Gene) Belland, Chick Tessier, Cleve Peltier, Ben LaBore and Ferdinand (Fritz) Tessier
Ben, Cleve and Fritz are brothers-in-law, with Ben being married to Cleve’s oldest sister Alice and Fritz married to one of Cleve’s other sisters, Norma.  Furthermore, Gene Belland’s aunt, also Cleve’s grandaunt is Marie Celina (Garceau) Belland, a sister of my 2nd great-grandmother Mathilda Domitille (Garceau) Peltier.  The one relationship I am not 100% sure about is Chick and Fritz Tessier.  I believe that Chick is Napoleon Joseph, one of Fritz’s younger brothers.
Albert Noah (Bert) Peltier and a friend at Wildwood Amusement Park on White Bear Lake
Bert is my Grandma Ellen (Peltier) Vadnais’ older brother.
Edmund Joseph Peltier standing by his De Soto Six 4-door sedan, Peltier Auto Company, White Bear Lake, Minn.
Edmund is one of my Grandma Ellen (Peltier) Vadnais’ younger brothers.  He lived on Division Avenue in White Bear Lake and for a period of time he ran a garage, Peltier Auto Company, on the west side of Clark Avenue.  Judging from the wheel cover on the back of the car, it appears that he also sold De Soto cars.

Thanks for visiting, come back soon,
Cynthia
