This was taken May 17, 1969 at the wedding reception for my oldest brother, David, and his wife Linda (Lou Morri). The reception was held at the White Bear Rod and Gun Club on Highway 96W. It is one of my favorite pictures of Grandpa and Grandma Vadnais.

The picture appeared in the White Bear Press on September 23, 1949. The article announced the expansion of business operations. Adlore (AJ) Vadnais and sons were opening a Hudson Car Agency in White Bear Lake with the grand opening to be held on September 30, 1949. The new enterprise was called “Vadnais Motor Company.”

This picture appeared in the White Bear Press, January 6, 1977, several years after Adlore and Ellen had passed away. I don’t have the full article, so I cannot tell you why it was in the paper. When I find out, I will let you know.
